《高中英語》（New Senior English for China，以下簡稱為 NSEFC），是為了適應新形勢發展的需要，由人民教育出版社根據教育部制定的《英語課程標準（實驗）》的精神編寫的。
本套教科書（NSEFC）正是為了順應教育課程改革的趨勢，與九年義務教育階段英語學習相銜接，并以實現高中英語課程總目標為目的而編寫，力求“使學生在義務教育階段英語學習的基礎上，進一步明確英語學習的目的，發展自主學習和合作學習的能力；形成有效的英語學習的策略；培養學生的綜合語言運用能力。”
